Following the success of the Thames Booze Cruise we embarked on a lazy jaunt along the Oxford Canal to Braunston and back.

The section around Newbold was straightened in the 1820s - resulting in these lovely iron bridges to carry the tow path over the dead ends that remain of the original contour canal.
