I'll have 450 gallons of leaves, please
Looks like we were right - there's a lot of leaves on the lawn at the moment.
But there's 450 gallons less than there were this morning (less however many have dropped off the branches since we stopped raking).

What's that in litres?
Pah! Trust you to ask the difficult questions...
1 US "liquid" gallon is 3.785411784 litres, so that's a tad over 1703 litres. For those interested in such things, an imperial gallon (i.e. the stuff you see in StarWars) is 4.54609 litres. That's partly why US cars have such awful fuel economy (gas mileage) - the gallons here are smaller.
HTH
Oh, and "a tad" is "a little bit".
you need a leaf blower. All Seattlites seem to have them; you blow your leaves one day and your neighbour blows them back the next!
