Who am I, some context for this slice
This slice of me used to take lots of pictures, used to spend a lot of time and effort developing and printing, used to work in a photographers photo-finisher, did a degree in photographic & imaging science, then stopped taking pictures. Olympus kit banished to the loft.
Harvey appeared and a Canon IXUS (elph if you're over the pond) did the job, even if the APS format sucked. I even did the odd chore for family and friends, dusting off the 35mm kit as I struggled down the loft ladder.
We decided to go digital, mainly for family pix, and our first Sony DSC-V1 piccy's were shot in September 2003. We were late to the digital party, which is quite ironic considering what I do for a day job in another slice of life.
Nearly two years on, and I've got the bug back with a Canon EOS 350D. This is fun.
Manningtree is my jottings around this photo-slice. Some of the results from this slice, mainly those for family and friends, might end up on crossoak.
