Actually, it's not flash that's bad. It's on camera flash that gives flash a bad name. After all, just what is natural light?
Two steps to getting flash off camera:
1. One of these for the flash bit
2. A set of these for off camera bit
Now, if only I could remember what I learnt about lighting at college...

This is a personal blog for me, aiddy.
Stuff posted here represents my opinion on things mainly photo-related.
I might have opinions on other subjects, and increasingly you might see them making a guest appearance or two here.
Until recently I was the CTO of Global Graphics, now I'm working for Microsoft.
Previously I've worked for Fujifilm and the University of Westminster.
What you see here is my personal opinion and not theirs; but you should be aware that those companies / institutions
have, at some time or another, helped keep me and the family dry, warm and fed.
Hopefully that puts you in the picture.
